Delta Galil Socks design team partnered with GiGi's Playhouse Inc.- Down Syndrome Achievement Centers to create custom-designed, colorful socks for children with Down syndrome, making a special contribution for their opening of the Portland branch. Four amazing children contributed their own artistic ideas to create unique and meaningful designs. ? GiGi’s Playhouse, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with Down syndrome, holds an annual day where participants wear colorful, mismatched socks to promote inclusivity. ? These socks were sustainably knitted from surplus yarn in Delta’s factory, adding an environmental component to the initiative. With an initial production of 1000 pairs, this heartfelt project has already inspired plans for expansion, showcasing Delta Galil’s commitment to both social responsibility and creative collaboration.
