"Being part of Delta’s GSE team has been an incredible experience, and I’m proud to be part of a company that values growth, teamwork, and global exploration. At LAX, our GSE team is unique because both motorized and stationary teams work out of the same shop. In most other locations, these departments are separate. The motorized team handles equipment like baggage tractors, belt loaders, pushbacks, and fleet vehicles, while the stationary team focuses on jet bridges, aircraft cooling units, ground power, and the baggage systems. Working together in the same space allows us to collaborate in ways you don’t typically see elsewhere, which strengthens our team dynamic. What I love most about my team is that no two days are the same. There’s a lot of critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving involved, which keeps things interesting. Even though the work can be intense, we always find ways to laugh and enjoy ourselves while getting the job done. Since joining GSE, I’ve learned so much about time management, communication, teamwork, troubleshooting, and collaborating with others.
