Chicago, Ill area Director of Operations - Overall Business Responsibility Job Description: We are seeking an entrepreneurial and driven Business Manager to oversee the entire business operation, with a focus on managing the P&L, leading the sales team, and handling the procurement of high-end food products, logistics and the office & warehouse staff. This role requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about the food industry and has the ability to improve and develop processes to ensure streamlined and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: Profit & Loss Management: - Oversee the company's P&L, ensuring financial goals are met and implementing strategies to maximize profitability. - Monitor financial performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the executive team. Sales Leadership: - Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. - Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the customer base and increase revenue. - Foster strong relationships with key clients and identify new business opportunities. Procurement & Product Sourcing: - Manage the procurement of high-end food products, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. - Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent and reliable supply chain. - Stay informed about market trends to source new and innovative products. Business Development: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth. - Develop partnerships and collaborations to enhance the company’s market presence. - Create and implement strategies to expand into new markets and increase distribution channels. Warehouse & Distribution Management: - Oversee the warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products. - Manage logistics and distribution, coordinating with the company’s fleet and third-party logistics providers such as FedEx 3PL services. - Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Operational Efficiency: - Streamline office and distribution operations to ensure maximum efficiency. - Implement process improvements and best practices across all areas of the business. - Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the warehouse and distribution teams. Qualifications: - Proven experience in a senior management role within the food distribution industry. - Strong knowledge of P&L management, sales strategies, and procurement processes. - Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets. - Excellent business development skills with an entrepreneurial mindset. - Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations. - Exceptional organizational and process improvement skills. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

The Director of Operations Will be responsible for implementing key performance indicators, best practices and strategies to ensure efficient and effective operations in all aspects of the business. It will also be client interfacing. This role will oversee the warehouse operations team as well as remote employees. Air Export Logistics Coordinator (In Office) Jamaica, NY Key Responsibilities Coordinates and processes shipments from all foreign origins Consults with clients via email and phone to assist freight movements Communicates and follows up daily with all foreign agents, carriers and internal departments on all shipping instructions provided Communicates delays/shipment issues very clearly both verbally and via email during office and non-office hours Ability to closely monitor the status of all shipments until final destination is reached Enters, reviews and processes shipments into our internal system Manages and reviews the accuracy of all shipping documentation such as air waybills, bill of ladings, & POD’s · Takes initiative to solve issues as they arrive and asks for help when needed.
