FULL TIME CIVIL ENGINEER POSITION AVAILABLE Deiss & Halmi Engineering, Inc. is seeking to hire a Project Engineer on a full time permanent basis. Applicants for should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related engineering degree, and should have successfully passed the fundamentals in engineering (FE) exam. Applicants with a Professional Engineer license are strongly preferred. Duties will include preparation of environmental permit applications for water, wastewater, stormwater management, water encroachment, and land development projects; preparation of design and construction drawings; preparation of bidding documents and construction specifications; field observations and surveying; site inspections; consultation with clients; and project management. Applicant will be expected to have reliable transportation to travel to job sites, and applicant should be capable of traversing rough terrain while carrying equipment. Deiss & Halmi Engineering, Inc. has provided civil and environmental engineering services to municipalities, developers, industries, businesses, and individuals for over 50 years. We are located in downtown Edinboro, PA, a small college and lake town with many nearby outdoor recreational opportunities and a strong sense of community.
