Transforming Lives, Restoring Hope, Degage Ministries is a non-profit organization located in the Heartside District of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Degage provides low-cost meals, basic-needs services, and an overnight shelter for women among many other services.

As we gathered around one big table with Heartside Landings residents today, one resident stood up and shared the following. "Many of us are no longer connected to our blood families, but I am so thankful for this family. A year ago, I never knew I would have a beautiful home like this." Whether you are spending time today with blood families or the families you chose, may you have a very blessed Thanksgiving.?

Grateful to gather today to celebrate the work of Degage Ministries and the positive ways they impact the city of Grand Rapids. If you don’t know, they sell $2 vouchers (the size of a business card) to gift to those you see on the streets, as an alternative to gifting cash. These vouchers are reimbursed for a hot meal, a hair cut, or any number of services at their location to those in need.
