  • DTRA’s arms control efforts are focused on restoring deterrence and ensuring readiness.? DTRA’s recent round of coordination meetings in Greece concluded a successful planning mission for U.S. support to Greece’s Vienna Document military inspections with non-NATO OSCE members. DTRA is proud to fulfill this mission and continue its participation under the Vienna Document process, which includes regular evaluations of OSCE members’ militaries, their organization, manpower, and weapons and equipment systems information, to deter future military aggression in Europe. These meetings will set the stage for future formal inspections in partnership with our Greek partners, to promote cooperation and accountability among our OSCE partners. A heartfelt thanks to our partners at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff Arms Verification Directorate for their renowned Greek hospitality during our planning sessions.
