We love to give behind the scenes tours to our customers and prospective customers. Jason Law (pictured center) from the University of South Florida (USF) was in Portland, Maine for the U.S. Symposium on Harmful Algae (12th U.S. Symposium on Harmful Algae ? NEIWPCC)?and took the opportunity to visit our facility. DeepWater Buoyancy has had a long-standing relationship with USF going back to the days of getting schooled in basketball at Flotation Technologies (Flotec) by?Rick Cole. Jason met with our Sales Engineers, Mike Nicholas (left) and Jordan Tremblay (right), to see how it’s all made and get a deeper knowledge of our product line and capabilities.

The event is hosted by the UMaine Advanced Structures & Composites Center. The event is brings together researchers, specialists, engineers, and leaders to discuss topics related to floating offshore wind. DeepWater Buoyancy has been participating in US Floating Offshore Wind events for many years.?As the only US provider of subsea buoyancy for interarray cables, we are key to the domestic supply chain.
