India Culture Week at Seattle University comes to a close with vibrant celebrations!? India Culture Week concluded with an exciting lineup of events that celebrated the rich cultural heritage of India. Here’s a recap of the final highlights:? ?? Yoga Session? An invigorating hour-long session with Yoga Guru Shephali Agrawal of Art of Living brought holistic wellness to participants at Eisiminger Fitness Center (November 13, 2024).? ?? Unveiling of the India Collection? A special collection featuring over 100 books on Indian heritage, arts, culture, yoga, and literature is now available for the campus community at Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons, as well as the Seattle University School of Law Library (November 13, 2024). The event was joined by special guests Seattle University Library, Sarah Watstein (Dean of Lemieux Library), Laura Spitz (Vice Provost for Global Engagement and Professor of Law), and Tony Varona (Dean and Professor of Law, Seattle University School of Law).? ?? Wellness Workshop? An immersive workshop led by Prakriti Poddar, Global Head of Mental Health and Wellbeing at Roundglass, helped participants create a personalized wellness plan rooted in Indian philosophies at Oberto Commons, Sinegal Center for Science and Innovation (November 13, 2024).? ?? Indian Arts Heritage Workshop? A hands-on workshop exploring the intricate art of Madhubani Paintings, led by Deepti Agrawal, artist and owner of Deepti Designs Inc, at Oberto Commons, Sinegal Center for Science and Innovation (November 14, 2024).? ??
