This week at Lab of the Future 2025 I had an insightful conversation with Rob Brown,?Global VP at?Sapio Sciences, John Chan,?Head of ShinrAI Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at?Takeda and Michail V.,?Senior Engineer at?AbbVie. We heard three great presentations highlighting how AI, with the right guardrails, can help accelerate scientific workflows and perform tedious tasks such as taking lab notes. In the panel afterwards, we discussed the evolving role of AI agents as thought partners in drug discovery. I am personally most excited by AI technologies that can go beyond automation of routine tasks and truly collaborate with scientists. At DeepCure, our scientists value the back-and-forth with AI to generate and systematically explore novel ideas. Excited to announce the discovery of potent, selective oral small molecule inhibitors of STAT6. These next-generation STAT6 inhibitors demonstrate excellent oral bioavailability, cell permeability, and metabolic stability, and do not target STAT6 for degradation.
