I just attended the ICPA, Inc - International Compliance Professionals Association fall conference session "AI-Assisted Customs Clearance: Real World Results of Higher Accuracy" by Deep Cognition. ?? Thank you John Pennypacker for the insightful presentation. ?? What stood out for me is how importers/exporters can use their tool to enhance physical audit processes by "Turning documents into data". Periodic auditing is very labor intensive, while supported by systematic auditing tools/reports it is still a heavy lift for most compliance departments. Having a tool that can scrape the data from your document packages, transforming it into a data set that can be compared to your system reports and ultimately your 7501 data is a game changer ? ?? So cool!
