Last night, Deeley kicked off the season with a Holiday Social at Fager's Island in Ocean City! The lighting was blue, but the mood was festive, as it's always a great time when this team gets together!

We’re at the Chesapeake Region Chapter of CAI Delmarva Expo in Ocean City! This year's theme is ‘Control the Chaos: Managing Community Mayhem’ and Deeley is here to help everyone keep calm and get their ducks in a row. Melissa Esham, our Community Association Advisor, is part of the high-energy General Session presentation team, guiding attendees through tricky owner vs. tenant issues, emotional support animal concerns, personality conflicts, and pickle ball problems! Thanks to the Princess Royale for hosting this fun and informative event!

Our very own Samantha Glaeser was recognized by the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore as one of the "40 Under 40 in Philanthropy" at their annual meeting today! Congratulations on this honor, Sam! We're incredibly proud of you and your achievements!

The Deeley Serves Crew brought some festive Fall energy to Hope and Life Outreach last night, keeping hunger at bay for 100 of our neighbors in need. No tricks here, just treats (and cakes, pies, and brownies!) Urgently needed pantry supplies include jelly, sugar, pasta sauce, bottled water, and Pop Tarts. The HALO Cafe accepts donations daily at 119 South Blvd. in Salisbury, MD. Every item is utilized and appreciated! Thank you!

This week, Deeley Client Advisor Brooke Sharbaugh Nugent attended the Insurance Agents & Brokers Young Agent Conference in Gettysburg, PA. The next generation of independent insurance experts from around the Mid-Atlantic region met to discuss legislation, market trends, and the impact of catastrophic weather events on the insurance industry.?Seminar topics included how insurance is keeping pace with the emerging technologies, navigating the hard market, and how understanding our behavioral style through DISC accompanies us in all aspects of work and life!

Join Deeley at the Maryland Motor Truck Association Eastern Shore Chapter Lunch Meeting on Nov. 7 at Wor-Wic Community College. Senator Mary Beth Carozza will be discussing key issues expected to impact trucking and transportation in the next session of the Maryland General Assembly, as well as recent laws on heat stress standards and family and medical leave insurance that are either in effect now or will become effective in 2025.
