??? Texas, it’s time to fight for our future. Whether you just learned about the Texas Legislative Session or are a pro, we work together. Texas politicians aim to divide us during this 89th session by not including the everyday Texan. We stop that here by asking you to join us in amplifying our priorities. Our state’s legislative priorities reflect the values of?#justice, equity, and opportunity for ALL. We’re pushing for: Abortion + Healthcare, Immigration, Trans + LGBTQIA+ Rights, Education, and Gendered Violence. ?? Along with the guided?#values?of our FREE Agenda. We have the power to lead, but it starts with you. Let’s hold our leaders accountable and demand policies that uplift every?#Texan. ?? ? Together, we can build a?#Texas?that works for ALL of us. ??

Reproductive and gender-affirming care are one and the same—both decisions we should make for ourselves, free from government interference. Yet, conservatives have led consistent attacks on marginalized communities, seeking to dismantle our freedoms under the guise of “morality”. We refuse to let everyday Americans be scapegoated for political gain. We see through their lip-service, this isn’t about protecting values—it’s about maintaining power. Follow us to stay informed this upcoming legislative session and for opportunities to take action. Together, we can create a world where every Texan is thriving, not just surviving.

????? Trans and gender-diverse people have always existed—and always will! Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance—a time to honor the lives lost to anti-trans violence and recognize the rich history, culture, and beauty within the trans community. When we uplift trans voices and stories, we combat trans erasure ?? Throughout history, trans individuals have been leaders, creators, and visionaries who inspire us to see beyond arbitrary boundaries. This Trans Awareness Week, let’s remember: our fight for justice is also a fight for trans joy, respect, and dignity ??

?? Today marks the first day for Texas legislators to file bills for the 89th legislative session! From January 14, 2025 to June 2, lawmakers will introduce, debate, and vote on bills that directly impact our communities, rights, and daily lives. ?? Last session, we accomplished amazing things thanks to the hard work of advocates, organizers, and legislators committed to change—from repealing the sales tax on menstrual and childcare products to allowing incarcerated folks to pre-apply for SNAP benefits. This session, we’re ready to do it again, but we need to stay active and informed at every step ??? ?? With issues like education, climate, economy, and healthcare on the table, our voices have the power to shape Texas’ future. By tracking bills, joining conversations, and raising our voices, we can ensure that our needs and values are heard loud and clear. Let's continue to fight toward a more sustainable and equitable Texas! ??
