It's a wrap! Enlit Europe 2024 has come to an end.. and Milan was literally (en)lit! Feeling really blessed to represent DSS Lab, EPU-NTUA and many of our ongoing projects at #ENLIT2024 including DEDALUS EU, DigiBUILD Project, CRETE VALLEY, HEDGE-IoT, InEExS LIFE, ENERGATE Project, i-STENTORE, META BUILD Horizon Europe Project, ENPOWER, ENERSHARE , FORTESIE EU Project, SRI-ENACT. Some of the highlights: ?? An excellent panel to discuss the ETIP SNET paper on?Energy communities' impact on grids (https://lnkd.in/eCt-6Kek) together with Mugur George PAUNESCU (European Commission), Beatrice Profeta (PwC), Helena Gerard (EnergyVille), Olivier Genest (Trialog), Nuno de Souza e Silva (REN), Natalie Samovich (AIOTI) and Ilaria Losa (Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico - RSE SpA). ?? A nice discussion with Birgitte Bak-Jensen (Aalborg University) on Energy Islands where I presented the CRETE VALLEY Project aiming to create the first Renewable Energy Valley in Europe. ?? A shared panel together with Diego Arnone (Engineering Group) upon the invitation from the #SmartEnergyCluster on the issue of "Unlocking the Power of Smart Energy: A New Era in Efficiency, Flexibility and Innovation" where we jointly presented outcomes from DigiBUILD Project and DEDALUS EU. ?? An interesting panel about Storage Technologies where I represented i-STENTORE together with ThumbsUp, HYSTORE PROJECT EU and AIR4NRG project having the opportunity to share the floor with Gianluca Lipari, Maria Laura Trifiletti, Emilia Pisani and Marco Rocchetti. ?? An encounter with our sister project REFORMERS Energy Valleys - Horizon Europe and Thierry Coosemans. ?? Enlit Europe 2024 has officially come to a close! ??? During #DEDALUS_EU panel "Multi-value and energy carrier-agnostic residential Demand Response" part of today's workshop co-organised by some of the European #SmartClusterEnergy projects, our coordinator Diego Arnone from Engineering Group SPA talked about the role of our project and enhanced #demandresponse in building a cleaner, more sustainable Europe. An important takeaway came from the joint panel session, during which Dedalus, together with its sister project DigiBUILD Project, highlighted how engagement activities on #residents' part are essential to gather feedback and drive meaningful contributions in initiatives such as our project, which ultimately aims to benefit end-users.
