?? An estimated?one billion bird deaths occur annually in the United States alone from glass collisions, plaguing migratory and local bird populations globally. In line with our commitment to developing and promoting solution-oriented products that mitigate this issue, Decorative Films is proud to announce a new philanthropic initiative with American Bird Conservancy's (ABC) Glass Collisions Program. Starting this year, Decorative Films is donating 3% of proceeds from Solyx? Bird Safety Film sales?to support ABC in researching and testing collision prevention solutions that meet their rigorous standards for reducing window collisions. "We are excited to receive support from Decorative Films, one of the first companies to produce bird-friendly window films, and look forward to the growing number of birds their products will save," says Bryan Lenz, ABC Glass Collisions Program Director. ABC has tested and approved all seven Solyx Bird Safety Films available through Decorative Films, awarding them threat factor ratings (TFR) ranging from 10 to 20—well below the minimum requirement of TFR 30 or below.
