Last week, we launched the NSIN - National Security Innovation Network Propel Maritime Digital Defense Accelerator Program, a component of the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), in Norfolk, VA! This in-person kickoff brought together our 10 innovative cohort teams with our Mission Partner, Commander, Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR), and Supporting Partners, NavalX Mid-Atlantic Tech Bridge (MATB) and 757 Collab. Through meaningful, solution-focused discussions, teams gained invaluable insights from key players in the OT Cyber Value Chain, deepening their understanding of critical missions and problem sets. By aligning innovation with operational needs, the in-person event fostered collaboration, strengthened partnerships, and laid the groundwork for transformative solutions in maritime digital defense. More exciting news for the Radiant team, just days after securing $100M in Series C funding! The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded Radiant $5M in support of its microreactor design for testing in the new Demonstration of Microreactor Experiments (DOME) test bed at Idaho National Laboratory. The funds will support the detailed engineering and planning process (DEEP), the next phase in advancing the design, construction, and testing of fueled reactor experiments. Last week, Decisive Point supported the NSIN - National Security Innovation Network, a component of Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) Propel Hawaii Accelerator Program's Demo Week, where cohort companies showcased groundbreaking technologies tailored to defense needs in the Indo-Pacific. A major highlight of Demo Week was the AFCEA International Pacific TechNet Conference. At the Indo-Pacific's premier defense technology event, the AFCEA Pacific TechNet Conference, cohort companies connected directly with senior military leaders, requirements specialists, and acquisition experts. This unique platform allowed teams to gain a deep understanding of the regional defense landscape and gather actionable insights while showcasing their solutions to potential military and civilian customers.

Congratulations to Radiant! What a remarkable time for the team as they celebrate the successful completion of the passive cooldown demonstration for the Kaleidos microreactor. This achievement marks a pivotal step toward delivering the world’s first factory-constructed microreactors to market, and we couldn’t be more proud to support them. “Consider recent disaster situations like Hurricanes Helene and Milton – if rapid and portable nuclear was available, powered relief could be CO2?free, carcinogen fume free, and avoid moving thousands of gallons of fuel every day. Exciting times at Firestorm! We’re thrilled to see the incredible advancements they’re making in defense technology. Their recent participation in the T-REX 24-2 event showcased the impressive capabilities of the Tempest drones, executing autonomous missions with remarkable precision and minimal human intervention. The coordinated flight of two Tempest drones—one for ISR and the other for loitering munition missions—marks a significant milestone for the team. We can’t wait to see what they’ll showcase at JIFX this November at Camp Roberts. Keep pushing the boundaries!

We're excited to share that Red Cat Holdings?(Nasdaq: RCAT) has secured $1.6 million in contracts following the acquisition of our portfolio company, FlightWave Aerospace (Fund I)! This funding will be used towards FlightWave's Edge 130 Blue drones, a UAS approved military-grade tricopter to the U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP). The contract was secured through Darley, a prominent distributor of equipment and technology for first responders and the military, and coordinated for procurement by the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) on behalf of CBP. Since its acquisition in September 2024, FlightWave has been integrated into Red Cat’s suite of low-cost, portable unmanned reconnaissance and precision strike systems. Additionally, FlightWave’s recent $1.9 million TACFI award will further enhance the capabilities of the Edge 130 Blue. Exciting times ahead for FlightWave and Red Cat!?
