Honored to attend the 100th anniversary of SPE ATCE 2024 in New Orleans. This event has provided valuable insights and opportunities to engage with leaders in the energy industry. Proud to be part of this milestone in advancing our field. One of the most insightful discussions I had at this year's conference was with Tim Anderson with Integrity BioChem. We discussed the importance of effectively managing often overlooked variables impacting the reservoir, such as the properties of the water used during completions, and the interaction clay control, polyacrylamide, and iron control can have on the stimulated rock volume, thus impacting well performance. Attending ATCE 2024 has been an incredible experience, especially reconnecting with alumni and folks representing service companies and operators and getting to catch up on the impact their technology has had on operations, such as InflowControl, Petrobras, and ComboCurve. Also this year I had the pleasure to attend the Startup Village, where entrepreneurs get a chance to demonstrate their ideas in hopes of strengthening developing areas in the industry.
