  • Corporate is coming apart as we speak...... I weighed in on an article here on LinkedIn recently. "Your team member is overwhelmed with work-life balance. How can you help them stay productive?" How would you answer that? There is no doubt that everything starts on the inside. We need to balance ourselves internally before we can operate in any setting from a healthy state of being.....however....... When the only team systems available are structured in an imbalanced way, then we are often FORCED into positions where we are required to take on more than we should because we are working in old models where the following occurs.... 1) There is an imbalance in decision-making, or an imbalance in power of one person over another. 2) Teams don't have the power of self-management and are required to work on behalf of the decisions of others who are NOT directly connected to the work they are performing. 3) There is unequal profit incentive which results in judgements in divided social classes and groups. For these three reasons, there is an exodus from corporate resulting in an increasing number of dysfunctional B2B relationships. Vendor contracts are not being met...... Inflation is having an affect, but most of it is a spiritual battle, or deeper "sense of self" battle. Nobody wants to participate in unbalanced relationships anymore. It separates and creates waste and toxicity. Fear develops and instead of healing the relationship to create growth, fear makes the self feel like it needs to hoard resources and let others fend for themselves. Fear is driving more individuals (entrepreneurs) into the system which drives down GNP, drives up inflation, which then creates more of the same. You need to pump more money into the system because less and less is being created. When too much of the economy is service based, it becomes more and more difficult to sell both products and services until it stalls out. WAKE UP! There is a huge opportunity at our fingertips that is not being taken advantage of.... What many don't understand or realize is that when a larger group of people don't need to compete with one another and are respected equally, then there ends up being much more incentive and abundance for all. Every toxicity in our world results from the way we look at ourselves and one another, placing unequal value in the way we see one another. Here's the thing.... I don't care how old you are or what you have learned, YOU ARE ALWAYS LEARNING. We are living in a field of intelligence. You are living at a time when you will witness old structures that have been intact for over a thousand years come crumbling down. There's nothing that can be done about it. Evolution is when old organisms die and are replaced by new more efficient ones that move more information and energy. Why not build something that works better, attracts people who desire more abundance for all, and balances the energy in the system?

  • Why are organizations still faltering? There has been a steady influx of entrepreneurs into the market place this year for several reasons. Coaches and consultants try to address this issue and understand that group culture is at the heart of making people feel like they are working in a healthy co-creative atmosphere. There are specific challenges, however, that don't get addresses when dealing with culture that CANNOT get addressed because of specific reasons. You will not make significant gains in group psychology unless you do the following two things.... 1) Treat people equally when it comes to incentive and decision-making power and 2) Empower groups to be self-managing without the need for exterior control. One needs to take place before the other. Since this is not being done a large collective level, unequal wage opportunities is creating a larger pool of entrepreneurs. Nobody wants to work for someone else's idea. All of this is happening at the spiritual level underneath and cannot be stopped. This author heard a statement from someone the other day along these lines...."There has never been more opportunity out there in the job market" In one sense this is true, but most of these jobs are lower paying, where you have to settle for a low paying wage working for someone else. Even younger people are less willing in today's society to work for someone else. More of those jobs become toxic and there is almost no incentive for long term advancement. It is true that more of society is becoming more and more addicted to hand-held devices and the collective's ability to concentrate for longer hours is being affected. Solution........ Create a business model around empowerment and self-managing groups where wage advancement is available to graduate from groups at different levels. You need to give incentive to grow as a person while at the same time providing the right conditions to build healthy communities. The present business atmosphere has less to do with healing the collective problem and more about controlling individuals into a forced "culture" experience to get a desired revenue stream.   • Communication is always the main roadblock to both success and growth in business. If your organization has any resistance to the flow of information internally, then data doesn't flow like it needs to. Less informed decisions take place. The key is understanding WHY communication breaks down in the first place..... There are so many CRM's now to choose from, that one or the other doesn't really make much difference. All of them are trying to accomplish the same thing. Increase communication and get more information to the people that need it at the right time to make better decisions. All of them, without fail, are missing one major piece of the puzzle......... They don't include everyone that has pertinent information to be a part of the decision-making process. If you and I are working together, and you have the power to make a decision and I don't, then I will be much less inclined to give you information. You can build out the most impressive CRM in the world, but unless people feel like they can be a part of decision-making, then they will have much less interest in participating.
