SRO Macklin never misses a chance to spread joy and kindness. We hope Lamar loves his police car!
We hope everyone had a great time during National Night Out 2024!
Last night, T2084 had the pleasure of taking part in Morgan County Sheriff's Dept & Decatur Police Dept's National Night Out event. What a huuuge success!!! The event was a blast as we got to engage with both our community and LE partners in the most amazing setting! Our volunteers helped with decorations, staffing, and continuing to encourage overall engagement. Of course we had our very own Crafting and Selfie Booth as well :) Such a fun event!! T2084 appreciates our community and LE Partners!!! Thank you to those who came out and supported! #NationalNightOut #Target #CommunityEngagment #NNO #GreaterinDecatur #R300APStrong #D369AP #WorkSomewhereYouLove ?? We appreciate students from the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) for inviting first responders to enjoy an ice cream social. Students helped serve ice cream, asked several questions and checked out a police car, a Decatur Fire & Rescue fire truck, and a drone. Thanks to staff and students for a memorable afternoon.
Today is the last day to submit your application for our current hiring cycle. For more info and to apply: https://lnkd.in/ePaNU3-X
GONE FISHING: We had a great first day of ACES with the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Alabama - 3rd Street! About a dozen catfish were caught this morning at Wheeler Wildlife Refuge Association - WWRA. Thanks to refuge staff and their Youth Conservation Corps group for helping bait hooks and offering tips on casting. Kids also got the opportunity to visit the refuge's newly renovated museum to learn about our local wildlife. After a fun day in the sun, we were grateful to be able to enjoy a delicious lunch thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings and Pepsi of Decatur.
