DEA’s March Community Champion: Liz Felix! Liz Felix, an Engineer in our Water & Environmental Business Unit, is inspiring the next generation through STEM education! At Escalante Elementary’s STEM Day, Liz led hands-on engineering activities for the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) event. She guided students through the House of Cards challenge, where teams built and tested structures—some supporting over 30 weights and a soda can! As a bilingual professional, she ensured all students could engage fully, helping a Spanish-speaking team construct the strongest structure of the day. Her dedication to mentorship, inclusion, and representation makes her a true leader in the community, and undoubtedly a DEA Community Champion. #DEAcommunitychampion #CommunityChampions #CommunityService #GiveBack
