The Deaconess Illinois Medical Center team had a great time at today's senior health fair at The Hub in Marion. We shared important information about heart attack and stroke symptoms and healthcare providers in Southern Illinois.

It was an honor to volunteer at last night's Veterans Honor Flight in Marion, Illinois. To the men and women who have served our country, we thank you for your service. The Deaconess Illinois Medical Center and Deaconess Illinois Crossroads teams spent the evening hosting the spouses' dinner and setting up before the event and cleaning up afterwards. Along with our team were many other organizations who volunteered their time to make this special event happen. We appreciate that we can come together as a community to honor these veterans.?

Yesterday marked the beginning of a new era of care for our community! We’re excited to unveil our new hospital name: Deaconess Illinois Medical Center. While the name of our building has changed, our core values and mission remain the same. We are, and always will be, devoted to providing the highest quality care to every patient who walks through our doors.

Acting quickly can save lives! ?? Understand the Risks: High blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, obesity, and diabetes are all factors that can increase your risk of stroke.
