Exciting progress at Ardea at Totem Lake in Kirkland, WA! Our drone captured the completed rough-in for the south portion of the 1st floor and the early stages of shoring for the 2nd. Deacon Seattle's high school interns, Gahl and Lyle, recently built their own 4’x4’x1’ planter boxes from scratch, following written instructions and sourcing materials from Home Depot. Guided by Steven Pearce, Safety Manager, at the safety warehouse, they learned essential skills like tool handling and problem-solving, including handling wood splitting and using wood glue. Their completed planter boxes will be donated to a Seattle Public Schools gardening club, giving back to the community. #Deacon #TeamWork #Internships
