DSB Director CJ Bell and several of our staff attended today’s House Small Business Caucus monthly meeting at Legislative Hall. We were excited to hear from the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce President Dina Vendetti about the CDCC ‘s priorities and legislative agenda. We also heard from the Delaware Association for Home & Community Care about the challenges they face is obtaining, training and retaining their workforce. We believe it’s important to hear about the challenges our small businesses face. #netde #smallbusinessadvocates

Yesterday, Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester and our Kent County Regional Business Manager, Anastasia Jackson, visited small businesses in Kent County. On the tour, they visited Dea Coleman, owner of Coleman’s CNA Academy. They also visited Rail Haus and Stonerail Market!

We were grateful that our Director supports women empowerment and provided us the opportunity to attend this amazing event hosted by the Greater Milford Chamber of Commerce.
