Congratulations to our client TriNet for winning the 2025 Outstanding PAC Award at #PACConf25!
Congratulations again to our 2025 Outstanding PAC Award recipients: the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) and TriNet. Their innovative campaigns sought to simplify peer-to-peer fundraising, increasing engagement from their eligible class and giving independent pharmacists a stronger voice in the fight for their survival, and take a top-down approach focused on leadership buy-in for PAC success, increasing PAC awareness within the company and redefining its role within the company culture. Robert Kennedy has pledged to prioritize food policy as a major initiative for HHS if he is confirmed (which seems almost certain at this point). He is a passionate advocate for the #foodasmedicine movement—one of the rare issues on Capitol Hill that has bipartisan support. SVP of Healthcare Dan Sweet discusses how businesses can position themselves successfully for some potentially tough battles ahead. https://bit.ly/4128b3A #stakeholderengagement #publicaffairs #communications #foodpolicy

The political and policy landscape is shifting faster than ever before. Policies reverse overnight, societal debates erupt in an instant, and companies often find themselves thrust into the public spotlight without warning. Only 17% of executives feel confident their communications and public affairs functions are well-equipped to navigate the new environment we all find ourselves in, an environment where strong stakeholder relationships and third-party voices will be more critical to protecting your reputation. The New York Times reported Wednesday that the Trump Administration’s moves to end DEI programs and cut foreign aid funding could drain millions from colleges and universities, but pushing back against them carries its own risks. What can schools do to advocate for students and funding while protecting their reputations? The 2024 elections proved we no longer engage audiences effectively by relying on assumptions about their ethnicity, gender, or other things about their identity. Instead, we must focus on what truly drives them—their motivations, interests, and the issues they care about most.
