In recognition of the absence of a trade partner and forum to support the hundreds of retail businesses in the District of Columbia, large and small, we're proud to announce the creation of the Federation to do precisely that. Seeking to serve as a public policy advocate, forum for innovation, and crucial gathering of industry leaders in one of the largest markets in the country, the DCRF will work diligently to better the retail landscape for its members in the nation's capitol, and the industry for consumers overall.

The D.C Retail Federation (DCRF) was founded in 2024 to stand as the local trade association, public policy representative, and innovation hub, for the retail industry in the District of Columbia. Working to serve as a partner to, and advocate within, the D.C Government on matters of commercial interest, and providing a necessary forum in which its members can collaborate to better the industry overall, the D.C Retail Federation is proud to serve as the sector's voice in the nation's capitol.
