We were recently a part of the DC Public Library's Teen Wellness Day, the Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE)'s Energy Efficiency Day, and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT)'s #OpenStreetsDC and #PARKingDay, among many other outreach events. At each gathering we connected with residents to share tips on saving money on utility bills, energy efficiency, and other important consumer information that supports clean energy and sustainability in the District.

As the District works toward reaching its climate goals, we’re exploring innovative solutions like virtual power plants (VPPs). These are networks of solar panels, EVs, and battery storage that supply power during peak demand. VPPs reduce grid strain and can help expand access to clean energy across the District.
