The continuing resolution will end Friday, March 14, and if an appropriation has not been enacted or another continuing resolution signed into law, normal operation will cease at midnight. If this is the case, the majority, but not all, of the agency’s workforce will be placed in a furlough status. ? Our next communication will be when an appropriation decision is made. In the case no appropriation is made by midnight on March 14, #DCMA will conduct an orderly shutdown of operations. As in the past, employees will be formally notified of furlough status on their next workday. ? DCMA employees are advised to take time this week to prepare for a possible shutdown. Please become familiar with the DCMA public website, www.dcma.mil, and our pages on LinkedIn (https://lnkd.in/eCYdrbwf) and Facebook (https://lnkd.in/eMvFHj-T). If there is a furlough, basic guidance will be posted there along with links to helpful resources. ?? Total Force has compiled a comprehensive collection of lapse-of-appropriation and furlough guidance and resources, which are available to DCMA employees on the agency's 365 site. #governmentshutdown
