We are thrilled to share a historic moment for DCAC! We recently welcomed?DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, Deputy Mayor?Nina Albert,?Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie, the?Great Streets Grant Team, and several other neighborhood partners?to our center as Mayor Bowser announced?$7 million in awards?to local businesses and nonprofits! Thanks to the support of the?Great Streets Grant, DCAC has undergone an incredible transformation, enhancing accessibility and creating a vibrant, inclusive space that better serves D.C.’s arts community. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and leadership of?Executive Director Sean Elias, the vision of Board Chair?Philip Barlow, and the tireless efforts of the entire DCAC staff. Their commitment to the arts and our mission has positioned DCAC as a vital cultural hub for Washington, D.C.
