In recent years, Spoken with Authority has heard from more clients than ever about that need for professionals to get better at giving and receiving #feedback. And, it’s no surprise! According to PwC research, 60% of employees would like to receive feedback daily or weekly, and that percentage rises to 72% for employees under the age of 30. But all too many managers and leaders dread performance assessments and giving feedback.
That’s why Spoken with Authority developed a new group training program in 2024 called "Move Forward with Feedback,” which reframes feedback as a first step, instead of last resort, and provides the COMMA Framework for giving timely feedback relevant to different workplace situations.
The session will explore ways of reducing defensiveness when receiving critical feedback and offers opportunities to practice giving and receiving feedback in non-judgmental role plays.
