As the year comes to a close, we took a few minutes to reflect and celebrate with the Kansas City Chapter team. It was nice the Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas could join us (sort of ??) DBIA National Conference Dallas TX | There was a good group of attendees from the Mid-America Region at our Happy Hour. Students from Iowa State University and Kansas State University and professionals all enjoyed an opportunity to connect during the Conference. It is great to have such a strong region and seeing the value of all these connections and collaborations.

Every year prior to the DBIA National Conference all Region Leaders (14) gather for the day to share ideas and work to help grow Design-Build. MAR President Matt Meier addressed the group sharing our successes through the years. The Conference started off sharing the association 2025-2027 Strategic Goals. Breakout sessions are held throughout three days. Some panelist from the MAR presented Wendy Hageman Burns & McDonnell "To the Moon and Beyond" and Matt Gosa McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.
