DBHDS operates 13 state facilities and partners with 40 locally-run community services boards and hundreds of private providers statewide.

The DBHDS Division of Developmental Services hosted leaders from Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities yesterday. Georgia requested to meet with the team to learn about processes put in place to support individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs. We were excited to share the Intense Management Needs Review Process and Behavior Support Plan Adherence Review Instrument as well as lessons learned. We had an amazing exchange of information!
