The number of events cancelled due to climate-related disruptions continued to rise in 2024, highlighting the urgent need for sustainable solutions. The discussion focused on innovations that improve energy efficiency, as demand grows for solutions that are both environmentally responsible and economically viable. At the same time, manufacturers are working on unified sustainability standards to create a solid foundation for long-term progress. Big announcement landing! Drumroll please... #dbaudio x Dubai Yes, we’re officially launching d&b audiotechnik Middle East ?? Setting up a subsidiary here is a major milestone that will profoundly influence the region’s cultural landscape, bringing our signature tech – like #dbSoundscape for immersive audio experiences and flagship #SLseries speakers – to new audiences. Plus, we can inspire local artists, stadiums, performing arts centres, hospitality operators, themed attractions and other event spaces ?? And it all makes perfect sense. We’ve been collaborating on more and more projects across the region, and will be able to work more closely with our partner network. FYI we’re already Official Technology Partner of the Dubai Opera and there’s a regional training program in place. The new business will be home to a dedicated regional team for sales, distribution, product education and support. Heading it all up will be Brad Maiden as General Manager.
