Join us at the West Branch this Saturday for Notes & Narratives from 2 - 4pm. Created by Taryn LaPrath with the Hunt Foundation, this program aims to celebrate the beauty of storytelling through a harmonious blend of literature and music, providing a platform for artists to collaborate, inspire, and connect with a wider audience. We will have a few singers, songwriters, and musicians to show the combination of writing with music. Musicians will share the stories behind their songs and will share books that inspired their music. For a hands on activity, the musicians will work with the kids to write songs/ raps inspired by literature or poetry and then "record" their work(s) in the Tech Studio on site. https://ow.ly/EhoF50U6l8R
