This year, Dayton Energy Collaborative is participating in Giving Tuesday. Dayton Energy Collaborative's mission is to make existing housing energy efficient, resilient, and healthy for residents of Dayton. We work with low-to-moderate-income households who need home repairs and improvements. We facilitate the Dayton Home Repair Network, a one-stop shop of home repair and weatherization programs that serve income-qualifying households in the Dayton area. By working together, we can address the needs of each household. DEC creates streamlined and efficient collaborative processes for the network, benefiting both our partner organizations and residents. Additionally, our team provides direct application assistance to residents and funds critical health and safety home repairs. There is a massive need for this work to continue in Dayton, to improve housing quality, health, and bill affordability for our neighbors.
