October 17 marked an exciting milestone in DDC's twenty-year history with the grand opening of the Navajo Code Talkers Building in downtown Dayton. The new facility serves as a strategic expansion of DDC’s commitment to advancing our clients' missions while promoting the sustainable prosperity of the Navajo Nation. Named in honor of the Navajo Code Talkers, this facility embodies a rich legacy of resilience, resourcefulness, and innovation. Home to DDC's innovation center, the space is designed to drive capabilities-fueled growth, enabling us to better serve our clients both in the Dayton region and across the globe. The grand opening unveiled the Navajo Code Talker Hall, which stands as a powerful testament to the Navajo Code Talkers' courage and ingenuity that we continue to uphold to protect our nation and empower future generations. The ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together esteemed speakers and guests, including Governor, Mike DeWine, Mayor, Jeffrey J Mims Jr, Commissioner, Debbie Lieberman, and Dayton Development Coalition President and CEO, Jeff Hoagland, who joined DDC leadership, government officials, community and industry partners, and regional customers to celebrate the milestone achievement.
