A once in a lifetime project was just announced yesterday. onMain was just awarded $35M to support the construction of the digital innovation building at the corner of Main and Stewart. The former Fairground site will be revitalized like was planned when onMain purchased the site. 38 acres in the greater downtown area. This transformative site will connect industry, with academia with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to innovate and collaborate better than ever. The onMain Innovation Hub is born!! Grateful to Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted for naming the Digital Transformation Center at onMain the second Innovation Hub in Ohio and granting $35 million to support the construction of a signature research, education, and engagement building. I am proud of the strong partnership that exists between the University of Dayton and Premier Health Partners and the many people who have worked hard to pave the path to this announcement. Grateful for the leadership and support of Dayton Development Coalition, Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio (OH), the Board of the Dayton Public School District, and many more. The collaborative partnership between University of Dayton Research Institute and the United States Air Force Air Force Materiel Command is fueling the digital transformation effort that will occur at onMain, and will include many academic and corporate partners.
