DSRT Surf Palm Desert, CA — davisREED has begun construction on the DSRT Surf project located in the Coachella Valley. This 18 acre site consists of a 5.5 acre surf lagoon, a surf center, a skate pump track, pickleball courts, and a pool/spa area alongside completed infrastructure for future pads and a hotel. This monumental project will be Wavegarden’s first surf lagoon on the west coast. This project will also give the Coachella Valley a new desert oasis and bring waves to our desert community. Approximately 65,000 cubic yards of soil, or about 5900 trucks has been exported from the 18-acre site. Well operations are currently under way and mass balancing of the lagoon will begin soon along with the dry utilities up to the site. We are looking forward to this desert oasis along with the rest of the project team.
