Congrats to this L.A. class action litigation team, who were featured among Law360's Legal Lions of the Week for their big win on behalf of Kroger. In winning dismissal of plaintiff's complaint, our team established a potential defense pathway for hundreds of similar lawsuits, all of which allege that very basic website functions are illegal under various wiretapping and privacy statutes. These complaints have in many instances proven very difficult to shake, especially in California. The successful DWT team was led by Jacob Harper, James Moon, and Sancho Accorsi.
