David Weekley Homes, one of the largest privately held national home builders, has closed on 201 homesites of a 406 homesite position in Crossprairie, determined to be the future home of Palmeras at Crossprairie in the master-planned community. The builder plans to develop and offer a series of townhomes and a series of single-family homes within the community. “We’re excited to bring dream homes to Customers in Crossprairie,” said Sam Abruzzo, division president for the builder’s Orlando operations. “This vibrant master-planned community offers so much for our homeowners, including top-notch amenities, convenience to major highways, and excellent onsite schools. We look forward to adding Palmeras at Crossprairie to the legacy of homes and communities we’re building in Central Florida.” Palmeras at Crossprairie joins David Weekley Homes developments including the recently opened Oakfield at Mount Dora consisting of 177 homesites the builder rezoned, engineered and developed, and the builder’s upcoming Towns at Oasis community development, consisting of 220 townhomes in Daytona Beach. Our Tampa Team Members gave the gift of volunteerism for the Special Olympics Florida Sunshine Bowl earlier this year. The morning volunteers kept score, managed the time clock, and ran the down marker for unified teams of corporate and Special Olympian flag football participants. The afternoon volunteers did the same but for 40 flag football teams comprised of Heroes (Law Enforcement, Military, Fire, and EMS) raising funds and battling it out for victory at the 6th Annual Sunshine Bowl.
