This is a video interview I did with Gerry McCaughey a few short weeks ago at the International Code Council Offsite Construction Summit 2023. It is in honor of my mentor and great friend, Gerry McCaughey that Im posting it today. Our first meeting was unforgettable. Imagine the magnitude of someone like Margaret Whelan who first introduce's you to Mr. OffSite. It’s like having the Prime Minister introduce you to the President. Humbling, amazing, inspiring. Of course I was impressed by his knowledge, his experience, his persistence. But it was the catchy phrases that got me. Gerry easily put things into perspective so that anyone could understand the value of offsite. I invite you to raise your glass every time you find yourself quoting him here, applying a lesson learned there…asking yourself “What would Gerry say about this…?” throughout your days and weeks.
