Last week, I had the opportunity to attend an incredible Customer Success meetup in Hyderabad, hosted at Draper Startup House India and organized by Dataplant and The CS Mentor. This event brought together a vibrant community of Customer Success professionals from various fields and industries, all with one common goal—sharing insights, swapping experiences, and exploring what’s next for CS. I have been into Customer Success for 5 years now. So for me, this was a refresher to gather a diverse school of thought in one place. Here are some of my takeaways: 1. AI and LLMs are transforming Customer Success—not as replacements, but as powerful enablers. 2. AI is helping CS teams elevate their game, especially through predictive insights. At Amazon too, we are working deeply with this. 3. CS has always been about giving a superlative experience to the customer. And today this is significantly changing through more and more data. 4. These data-driven decisions are enhancing engagement and delivering exceptional experiences across various industries. 5. Collaboration > Competition : Such mixers are like travel experiences. You learn through observing and conversations with new people who are like you and unlike you. Cross-organizational brainstorming and learning are truly refreshing — this is what keeps the CS community moving forward. This meet-up was truly valuable and insightful. A couple reflections on the quantum computing breakthrough we just announced... Most of us grew up learning there are three main types of matter that matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Today, that changed. After a nearly 20 year pursuit, we’ve created an entirely new state of matter, unlocked by a new class of materials, topoconductors, that enable a fundamental leap in computing. It powers Majorana 1, the first quantum processing unit built on a topological core. We believe this breakthrough will allow us to create a truly meaningful quantum computer not in decades, as some have predicted, but in years. The qubits created with topoconductors are faster, more reliable, and smaller. They are 1/100th of a millimeter, meaning we now have a clear path to a million-qubit processor. Imagine a chip that can fit in the palm of your hand yet is capable of solving problems that even all the computers on Earth today combined could not! Sometimes researchers have to work on things for decades to make progress possible. It takes patience and persistence to have big impact in the world.
