Who has way too many apps and software? Sometimes you feel like all day you are just logging in and out of different apps and accounts? One of the drawbacks of all the super efficient and savvy applications out there, that can help with automation, forms, emails, scheduling and more, is that keeping track of all of them and properly utilizing each one, is a task in of itself. Even when they integrate with each other. My suggestion to clients is try and simplify as much as you can. First have a primary software. Then MAXIMIZE that current software. Use all of its capabilities. Be creative. If they have a native capability that can be used to accomplish what you need even if that is not the intended functionality, USE it. Have fun and explore! Once that is completely maxed out and it is really not enough - then you need to do an analysis. What is the benefit of adding this additional application vs what it will cost you in time to maintain it, constantly open another app, reconcile it to the primary app (if needed), train people to use it and more. And only then DECIDE. And once you start with one app, then do the same process all over again. MAXIMIZE that app. Use all of its functionality. See how you can make it work for you and only if.... Then repeat. Until you have streamlined your software and applications to the bare minimum whilst still giving you the max functionality. This helps your business: - Save Money (less subscriptions) - Save Time (less Logins) - Maintain More Accurate Data (less multiple sources of data) - Smaller Learning Curve Per Employee - Less Headaches and Stress!!! From trying to keep track of so many things! Trust me on this one. I love software. And will run to learn about every one of them. But I have made the mistakes and I know as tempting as it may be and exciting as they look, always keep the above in mind! Sometimes Less really is More!

How does Linked In bring you the most revenue and what do you think is the best way to split your time between these different activities on LI? - Posts from your account? ?? - Posts from your business page? ?? - Comments on other posts ?? - Or Messaging your connections? ?? Does the method change based on your industry or the service you provide? Like if you have pictures of your product, then I totally understand that posts, whether personal or from the company page with pictures of your product would be very influential. But if you are in the service industry and your product can't be promoted as well with picture or videos, is comments the best way to show your audience that you have insight to add that can benefit them? I know you can write insightful posts, but then they get long and boring and no one has much patience to read them. What do you think?
