Thanks for hosting us! We're grateful for this partnership with Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and Zulma M. Cucunubá and her amazing team. Our focus on #localism means being intentional about local leadership when developing #data and #AI capacity for solving complex, intersectional social problems -- whether that's #epidemic prevention or response or #financialinclusion.
I’m excited to be in #Bogotá today with the team at?Pontificia Universidad Javeriana?to discuss the power of partnerships and how it fuels our shared work. Last year, at?DataDotOrg's first convening of the Accelerate: Data for Social Impact Conference, we brought together social impact organizations, philanthropy, industry partners, and academic institutions like Javeriana to reinforce how we are stronger together when it comes to leveraging data and AI for good. When we share best practices and create open source tools and resources across our networks, we can develop community-led, community-informed solutions that help us address some of the world’s most pressing challenges, including climate change, public health, financial inclusion -- and their complex intersection. As we look ahead to the 2026 Accelerate convening, that collaborative approach is more important than ever, and I’m grateful to have partners (and amazing women like Zulma M. Cucunubá and Diana Fajardo Pulido to learn and work alongside! #Accelerate2026 #AccelerateImpact #DataDrivesImpact Cormekki Whitley, Ph D | Emma (Marty) Donelan | Uyi (O.T.)
