Hello USF Bulls ! On September 24, the Data Science Club at USF hosted a hybrid panel with three professionals - Briana Watkins, MPH, MLS-ASCP, Eddie Dunlap, and Ingrid Dizon from Bank of America. We had an engaging discussion filled with valuable insights! Our speakers shared their experiences in the industry, offered tips for the internship season, and discussed early career opportunities at BOA. Hearing how they took unique and unconventional paths to get to their current career points was fascinating. Despite a few technical hiccups initially, the event was a success. Workshop Series – Hands-on, project-oriented sessions where you’ll leave with practical skills and completed projects. ?? ?? 2. Data Talks – We bring in guest speakers, industry professionals, and professors to discuss both academia and the data science industry. The best part? These are organized as panels rather than seminars, giving you the chance to ask questions and network at the same time. ????? As it was our first event, we also hosted a fun, data-driven game—and we had some great winners! ?? The highlight of the evening was meeting new faces and connecting over some delicious popcorn chicken, lemonade, and ice-tea. ????
