关于我们
We believe leveraging data isn’t just about crunching numbers; it’s about telling stories. Through the right lens, educational data can tell the stories of our students’ growth, their triumphs, and the areas where they need additional support. Yet too often, such data can stir up a lot of fear, confusion, and skepticism for teachers and leaders alike – especially when it's only viewed (or treated) as a numbers game. But it’s not a game at all – in fact, it can be a collaborative opportunity waiting to happen. We believe that by letting data inform, but people drive, we can empower ourselves to make informed decisions that have a real impact on student outcomes. It can be a collaborative effort where everyone has a seat at the data table, and everyone gets their own little “data donut.” Unfortunately, there are very few data consulting companies in the world today – and most of them don’t take this holistic view. But we’re here to change that. As a former instructional coach, certified teacher with 10+ years in education, and a master’s degree in Learning and Technology, I’ve developed data expertise from the unique perspective of both the teaching side and the tech side. That’s what led me to found Data-Informed Impact in 2020 – to help data become a catalyst for more school success stories, including yours. There is immense potential of doing data differently so it guides, but doesn’t decide. When you do that, data can spark the right questions, invite teachers to the conversation, and lead to student success. And having partnered with 160+ schools and 70+ administrators, leaders, and teachers to do this thus far, we’re ready to give you all you need to fully benefit from both your data and your people’s potential. So, if you’ve been wanting to tell a new story for your school – one that’s defined by you and your teachers working together toward student impact, empowered by data’s insights and not constrained by them – we’ve got you. Building Continuity and Transparency: Caseload Management with Google Sheets will be presented by Mackenzie Peters on 1/9 @ 9:00 A Description: This presentation will focus on creating master caseloads using Google Sheets to effectively manage student services for those with additional needs, such as learning support or English as an Additional Language (EAL). Utilizing Google Sheets ensures continuity of services and promotes transparency among staff and administrators. This tool offers an accessible, real-time platform for tracking student progress, managing interventions, and updating key stakeholders. By enabling easy sharing and collaboration between learning support staff, EAL specialists, and administration, it helps align efforts to meet student needs.A centralized digital caseload reduces communication gaps, making it more efficient to provide consistent support across various disciplines. The system also facilitates the tracking of student progress, modifications to services, and documentation of interventions, ensuring a clear and organized record over time. This structured approach contributes to a more efficient, collaborative, and organized support system for students with additional needs, ultimately improving their academic outcomes and overall well-being.
