Meet Kayla P., our Product Development Manager, who played a pivotal role in the development of our newest product, One Gel! ? “One Gel was one of the very first products I led from concept to launch at Dashing Diva, and I’m thrilled to share a few behind-the-scenes photos we’ve been developing from May 2023. The last photo attached is from the first production sample we received in the office, and we had a little unofficial party to celebrate!?We started with 64 initial shades, went through over 25 formula revisions, and conducted about 15 wear tests to ensure durability and that perfect glossy finish. As a product development manager, it was incredibly rewarding to coordinate with R&D, design, and marketing to bring this “base, color, and top in one” formula to life. I traveled to China and Korea to collaborate with our R&D teams to perfect the formula and achieve those stunning colors. We also designed a lamp with a red guideline (goodbye, off-center nails!) and included an ergonomic magnet to make application more fun and user-friendly. Personally, I’m not patient enough for traditional manicures – I always end up smudging my nails while fixing them or scrolling on my phone. That’s why I love One Gel: you can adjust it as many times as you need before curing, it cures in just 60 seconds, and gives you a salon-quality look, all in a single formula” -Kayla Park ?
