Achieving Great Heights ??? Expanding Care with Precision The HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital Vertical Expansion will mark a major step forward for patient care in Port St. Lucie. The project adds two new stories on top of the existing hospital, expanding capacity with new inpatient and maternity beds, as well as a Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to provide advanced care for newborns. Our Glass Group is furnishing and installing the exterior glass storefront system for the new levels, working closely with Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC to integrate the new system with the building structure. Installing at height on an existing facility requires tight coordination with other trades and careful adaptation to the building’s original design.
