Today is Give to the Max Day, a day when Minnesotans #unite to create a better future. Your gift today helps provide essential rides in our community, giving older adults independence and caregivers relief. We never turn away an older adult in need – even when the cost of providing that support far exceeds the funding we receive. Your support is critical to help close this gap so we can keep meeting today’s needs and plan for tomorrow. Empower older adults. Strengthen our community. Help seniors stay on the move. Creating connections that enrich aging. Volunteers and staff provide solutions reflecting diverse community needs.
关于我们
DARTS mission is to create connections that enrich aging. Our vision is to be a respected leader in providing equitable solutions that reflect diverse community needs and create a fulfilling aging journey. DARTS has served older adults and their families in and around Dakota County for more than 40 years. We provide services and supports to help people age well in the home of their choice. We are a recognized resource for aging and caregiver topics. Our work is supported with a blend of program fees, corporate sponsorship and individual contributions. DARTS gives voice to aging and intergenerational communities. We provide education sessions for employers on how to support and adapt for an aging workforce. We provide any groups practical educational sessions on aging topics like dementia, senior housing options and work life balance. Established in 1974, DARTS supports older adults’ independence through information, resources, and practical household help; provides mobility through accessible ride services; supports those caring for older adults with resources, coaching, and education on aging; engages all ages in volunteerism; and builds community connections through innovative partnerships.

Partnerships with organizations like UnitedHealthcare keep even more older adults on-the-go! Thank you for the beautiful bus and your dedication to seniors in our community. And a special thanks to Deborah Kubes of UnitedHealthcare and member of the DARTS Board of Directors!
80% of a person’s health is impacted by factors outside the doctor’s office, including access to transportation. UnitedHealthcare is proud to sponsor local organizations like DARTS, which gives older adults in the Twin Cities safe rides to medical appointments, grocery stores and more. See how else we’re advancing health equity in communities nationwide: https://lnkd.in/gCYZpFrN

Throughout this year, you may have heard us mention Goff Public a few times. From our?50th Birthday Bash and our Learning Buddies program through Flint Hills Resources, all the way to our Breakfast back in April, we have spent quite a bit of time with our friends at Goff this year. That even includes our speaker herself, CEO/President Jen Hellman! Thank you for taking the time to chat with us (and for being an amazing #speaker at the Breakfast)! The #wisdom you share will bring us into the next 50 years.

President Ann Bailey had a great time discussing Aging Into the Future with the Apple Valley Rotary Club. Great questions and discussion! Thank you for inviting us to visit, Randy Bailey, and for the breakfast.
