We are thrilled to officially unveil our partnership with NOAA Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary! As the closest gateway community to the reef it’s our honor to be the home of one of their mobile display units in the Darien-McIntosh County Visitor Center. Designated in 1981 by President Jimmy Carter, Grays Reef has a unique history, natural importance and ecology diverse landscape. Come check it out and learn more!

We had a wonderful time at the Governors Tourism Conference hosted by Explore Georgia. As the Destination Marketing Organization for McIntosh County and the City of Darien, we find true value in connecting with other agencies and learning about upcoming tourism trends!

McIntosh GROWS is in its second year of development as our youth engagement and workforce development program. We are thrilled to host this program in partnership with the McIntosh County Industrial Development Authority and McIntosh Schools. Our commitment to this community and our youth is seen in the overwhelming support of this program.
