Emma Enebak dress for the Walker Art Center Avant Garden Party, 2024. Emma came to me with a vision of a dress that combined classical elegance with an Impressionist artist’s flair. As we discussed ideas and inspirations, we discovered we both share a love for Monet. His work, centered around capturing fleeting moments and the way light plays with nature, became the main influence for this dress. This is reflected in the dress’s fluid movement and the blend of reflective and textured fabrics.

For Dare to Darling's inaugural Spring/Summer Collection, I sought inspiration from the essence of spring itself. As winter fades and spring emerges, there's an unmistakable sense of anticipation and rejuvenation. The days lengthen, nature becomes vibrant, and the sun's warmth is inspiring. It's a time when the remnants of winter seem to melt away, allowing for fresh starts and renewal. For the Spring/Summer 2024 collection, I wanted to depict the feeling that spring brings. I am inspired by the inherent change and transformation that accompanies the season. This renewal reflects the evolution and growth that Dare to Darling is experiencing with the transition to making seasonal collections. Each piece in the collection embodies a facet of spring, collectively telling the tale of its vibrant renewal and blooming. Photographed by Irelynd Williams

The Spring Summer 2024 collection from Dare to Darling made its runway debut at the Fashion Week MN showcase "La Rotonde" last Friday. Dare to Darling is so grateful for the chance to be part of La Rotonde's story. A heartfelt thank you and congratulations extend to show producers Ava Diaz and Emma Enebak. The sold-out show stands as a testament to their dedication and efforts.
