On September 11-12, 2024, the #DarChemDN consortium gathered at the University of Groningen (RUG) for the project's first training workshop bringing together Doctoral Candidates (DCs) and project partners from across and beyond Europe. ?? Workshop highlights: - Day one focused on introductions, project management and an interactive lecture on the ethical implications of synthetic life. - Day two featured scientific lectures by Gonen Ashkenasy, Sijbren Otto, Dora Tang, Eors Szathmary and other experts on self-replication, compartmentalisation and more. Attendees also toured the labs for practical insights into RUG's research environment. ??
